-> Elizabeth White-Spaulding, 74, died peacefully, Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Hospice Savannah after a long illness with diabetes. Born February 20, 1931 in Savannah, Georgia she was the 21st child of 22 children born to Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie White. Elizabeth attended the public schools in Chatham County and graduated from Beach High School. She was a life long member of Wilmington Baptist Church. Elizabeth is survived by husband, James T. Spaulding, three children, Gail M. (Aaron) Couch of Columbus, OH, Barbara A. (Marcus) Pellot of Newark, DE and Jerome C. (Susan) Spaulding of New Castle, DE; one brother, George White; one sister, Juanita Whately; four grandchildren; Kimberly M. Couch, Aaron Couch, Jr., Amber N. Couch and Adrian N. Spaulding; one great granddaughter, Eryn S. Couch; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation: 5:30-7:00 p.m. Friday September 2, 2005 at Williams & Williams Funeral Home. Funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth White-Spaulding will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Wilmington Baptist Church, 3321 Skidaway Road. Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery.
