Obituary of Elizabeth Wilson


WILSON _ Elizabeth Russell (nee Paterson) Born October 20, 1911 in Elgin-Murrayshire, Scotland the daughter of Daniel and Jessie Paterson. She passed away peacefully at Hawthorne Lodge in Port Coquitlam at the age of 91 January 10, 2003. Elizabeth was pre-deceased by her husband Frank Wilson in 1993. She is survived by her daughter Helen Theresa Jessie Foster, beloved grandsons, Chad (and wife Kim) Baptiste , Brent Baptiste (Dianna Dillabough), Adam Baptiste (Janine Chabot), and son-in-law Tom Foster. We are all thankful that we were able to share her last afternoon and say our good-byes. She is also survived by her sisters Jessie Wenger, Loma Cliff-Talbot, Mary Chapman, Margaret Warner and sister-in-law Dorscie Paterson. She had many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews. She loved them all and each one had their own special place in her heart. Elizabeth had many friends and lived most of her life in Vancouver before moving to Coquitlam. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Hawthorne Lodge for the care given to our mother and grandmother. There will be a celebration of her life on January 25, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Burkeview Family Funeral Home, 1340 Dominion Ave, Port Coquitlam, B.C. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Children's Hospital.
