MASTERSON, Elizabeth (Thomas) In loving memory of Elizabeth Masterson (Thomas) who passed away Friday morning, February 18th, 2000 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site. Born in Wales, she married Michael in 1961 in Toronto and enjoyed 39 years together. She was Registered Nurse and began her career as a district nurse in Wales, she had an accomplished career working at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Burmingham, England, the Mayo Clinic, Minnesota, St. Joseph Hospital Toronto and for the past 12 years she was the Co-ordinator for the March of Dimes. She was active in volunteer work in Elliot Lake including the Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending hours painting. Elizabeth was a very outgoing person, with a great attitude, she could always see the good in people. She will be sadly missed. ,Beloved wife of Michael Masterson of Elliot Lake. Loving mother of Susan (husband Fern Houle) of Hanmer and Victoria (Alex Pinedo) of Toronto. Dear grandmother of Elizabeth, the late Nora predeceased, and Phoebe. Dear daughter of the late Ivor predeceased and Dorothy Thomas of Wales. Dear sister of Richard of Wales and Ithel predeceased. Memorial Service in the Church of the Epiphany, 85 Larch St., Wednesday, February 23rd, 2000 at 2 p.m. Cremation in the Parklawn Crematorium. Donations to Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated.
