January 23, 2006 Elizabeth "Betty" Stafford, 87, of Syracuse, NY, passed away Monday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Baldwinsville, New York, Betty resided here in Syracuse all of her life. She was a graduate of Nottingham High School, class of 1936, and Central City Business Institute. Upon graduation she was a secretary in the Syracuse City school district, working primarily at Seymour and H.W. Smith Schools and retired in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Therese Little flower of Jesus Church. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Naples (Allen) of Fayetteville, NY; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Ian) Cohen of California and Sarah Naples of Fayetteville. Services will be Friday, 9:30 a.m., at the Burns-Garfield Funeral home and at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt, NY. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, 3175 E.
