Elizabeth S. Williams Marcy Elizabeth S. Williams passed away peacefully on November 15, 2010, at Heritage Health Care Center. She was born September 11, 1927, in Utica, a daughter of William and Elizabeth Alsheimer Schmidt. Elizabeth married William H. Williams on May 6, 1946, in Boonville. He died May 13, 2003. Mrs. Williams was a private duty nurse and worked at area nursing homes. She was a member of St. Peters Church, North Utica, the Marcy Seniors and the Floyd Seniors. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Williams and Kimberly Costello, Ilion; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Pat Williams, AZ, Thomas and Ann Williams, Westernville, Brian and Donna Williams, New York Mills, and Jim Williams and Donna Oastler, Remsen; grandchildren, Charles, Timothy, Christopher, Leslie, Scott, Dyanna, Greg and Tom, Jr.; many great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Butcher, Barneveld; a sister-in-law, Marilyn Schmidt, Yorkville; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Richard Schmidt, Sr., and William Schmidt. The family would like to express their special thanks to Jackie and Jerry and the 3rd floor staff of Heritage Health Care Center. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 8:30-9:00 a.m. at Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home, Forty Main Street, Whitesboro.
