Born February 15, 1946 has sadly passed away on April 26, 2006 after fighting a battle of cancer. Predeceased by her husband Robert Rogers, parents James & Elizabeth (Lizzie) Tuckanow, sister Rosemary (Jackie) McKay, brothers Remie James (Jr.) Tuckanow, Micheal Elton (JayBoy) Tuckanow, adopted brother Eugene Poitras. She will sadly be missed by children William (Donny) Bellegarde, Carol (George) McNabb, Troy Desnomie, Micheal (Sonia) Desnomie, Annette Stonechild, Cory (Viola) Desnomie, Naomi (Glenn) Asham, Steven (Sharon) Desnomie, Densie (Lonny) Swanson, Michelle (John) Desnomie, April Desnomie, Daniel (Iona) Desnomie, Dana (Walter) Desnomie, adopted children Geraldine (Brad) Mackenzie, Debbie (Wayne) Poitras, Margaret (Kenny) McNabb, Grace (Jerry) LaFayette, sisters Isabell (Mike) Assoon, Margaret (mother in life) (Hughie) Kolodziezak, Kathleen Bellegarde, Mary Jane Ironchild, Mona Dieter, Lydia (John) Desnomie, Sandra (Buddy) Starr, Mildred Bellegarde, brothers Francis (Tom) Tuckanow, Ernest (Marlene) Tuckanow, adopted brothers Oliver (Nora) Poile, James (Delma) Poitras, Richard Harper. Wake to be held at Peepeekisis Pesakastew School, Sunday, April 30, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Traditional burial on Monday, May 1, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Feast to follow.
