Elizabeth R. Jackson of Maine, N.Y.Elizabeth R. Jackson, 77, of Maine, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at the Ideal Senior Living Center. She is survived by her husband, Basil Jackson, Maine; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Linda Jackson, Endicott; one daughter, Deborah Elliott, Binghamton; one sister-in-law, Pat Reece, Canadiagua, N.Y.; six grandchildren, David Jackson, and fiance, Meridith Howard, Kristy Jackson, Romain Canuet, Matthew, Elizabeth and John Elliott; five great grandchildren; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St., Johnson City. The Rev. Marilyn Barnard, Pastor of the Maine Federated Church will officiate. Burial will be in Maine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barber Memorial Home. The Johnson City Service Chapter Order of the Eastern Star will have a service at 8:30 p.m. at the memorial home. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or Ideal Living Center.
