WADLEY, Ga. - Mrs. Elizabeth "Liza" Powell Walker died on Thursday, April 28, 2005 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral will be held on Friday, May 6, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Canaan Galilee Baptist Church in Louisville, Georgia with the Rev. Robert Stokes officiating. Burial will be in the Little Pine Hill Cemetery in Davisboro, Georgia. Her survivors are: two daughters, Linda Thabiti-Arthur, Hephzibah, GA and Alla Mae Gibbons, Wadley, GA; 3 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 13 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains will be lying-in-state at Hudson Mortuary, 144 Butts Street, Wadley, Georgia on Thursday and at Canaan Galilee Baptist Church, 6697 Hwy. #1 No., Louisville, GA on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
