Elizabeth Parker Patrick White CORNELIUS, NC-- Elizabeth Patrick White, 95, of Cornelius, NC, formerly of Pacolet, Spartanburg and Union, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at home. Born April 1, 1912, in Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes Spencer Parker. She was first married to the late Perrin W. Patrick, then to the late J. C. Lee, and to the late Issac W. White. She attended Spartanburg Methodist College and was a retired house director with the SC School for the Deaf and Blind. She was a member of Grace Covenant Church of Cornelius, NC, and a former member of the First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Survivors include a son, John R. Patrick and his wife Sara of Orange Park, FL; a daughter, Lynne P. Harris and her husband Joe of Huntersville, NC; three grandchildren, John Christopher Patrick, Beth Iveson, and Joseph P. Harris; five great-grandchildren; two step-sons, Jimmy Lee of Pacolet, and Ronald White of Landrum; and a step-daughter, Mary T. Bartee of Charleston. Visitation will be 3-4:30 PM Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Floyd's Pacolet Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 5:00 PM at Pacolet Methodist Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Val Rosinquest and the Rev. Gene Harris. Our heartfelt thanks go to the many friends of Ms. White's church and exercise group for their prayers and support in her care. Also, the family would like to thank her doctors, Alisa Nance, Timothy Kuo, John Clements, and Gregory Hall of Lake Norman for their work and compassion during her illness. A memorial service will be held at Grace Covenant Church at 17301 Statesville Road, Cornelius, NC at 7:00 PM on Monday, May 21, 2007.
