Untitled ELIZABETH PARKER GUTHRIE "BETTY-JEAN" 1933 - 2009 Elizabeth Parker Guthrie, 76 of Pensacola, died in her sleep at home Tuesday, December 22, 2009. Elizabeth was born February 19, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina to Franklin Clarence Parker and Elizabeth Anna Caylor Parker. Mrs. Guthrie retired from Naval Criminal Investigative Service in 1995. She continued to devote her love and time to her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Gordon Guthrie, Sr. Survivors include her two children, Margaret Elizabeth Guthrie Sackett and David Gordon Guthrie, Jr. (ESQ.); her two sisters, Norma Parker West and Carol Parker McKeithan. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m.; Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with Chaplin Edison Burleson, Major, USAF (Ret.). Interment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
