Elizabeth P. "Pat" Adams, 65, a resident Yarmouthport, died May 9, 2013, at her home from complications related to multiple myeloma, which she fought for seven years. Raised in East Weymouth, Pat graduated from Weymouth High School in 1965. She received her nursing degree from Vermont College and became a Head Nurse with the American Red Cross. Pat resided in Norwell for 28 years, where she was a realtor. In 1997, she founded Home to Stay, a provider of home care for seniors. She lived in Yarmouthport for 13 years. Pat enjoyed living her life with color and conviction. She is survived by her sons, Michael and David Leahy and their families, including three grandchildren; and by her brother, Charles Adams and his family. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the Multiple Myeloma Research Fund, MMRF.org. A celebration of Pat's life will be held at her home Saturday, May 11, beginning at 2 p.m.
