Elizabeth Moriarty May 10, 2010 Elizabeth Moriarty, 89, of Syracuse, died on May 10 at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. She graduated from St. Lucy's Academy and retired as director of admissions at St. Joseph's Hospital after working there for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Senior Guild. She was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and James Moriarty; her sister, Helen and; brother, James (Bud) Moriarty. She is survived by her cousins, John Garland and Doris Clark and numerous other cousins. Service will be held Saturday, 9:30 a.m. at St. Lucy's Church. Calling hours will be held Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 3180 Bellevue Ave. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Lucy's Church, 432 Gifford Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
