Obituary of Elizabeth Miller


Elizabeth Miller, age 86, of Milton, Fla., passed away Oct. 23, 2013, in Crestview, Fla., after a lengthy illness. She was born in Holt, Fla., on March 26, 1927, to the late Lee and Annie King Harrelson. Elizabeth worked for Texas Instruments, retiring after almost 30 year of employment. When her health began to fail, she moved back to this area to be with her family.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Junior Lee Garrett and Thomas Miller; a sister, Annie Lee Penn; and a brother, Angrus Harrelson.She is survived by her children, Sylvia (Danny) Andrews, Sue (John) Fuller, Sheila (Tim) Boyd and Roger (Maria) Garrett; a sister, Linastean Howard; sister-in-law, Vivian Harrelson; nine grandchildren, Dana, Renee, Mac ,Jesse, Amy, Shana, Jamie, Jessica and Meagan; and 14 great-grandchildren, Courtney, Morgan, Sarah, Levi, Travis, Tyler, Kyle, Phillip, Jessica, Turner, Ashley, Benenico, Brittany and Hoyt.Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, at the chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends starting one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in New Holt Cemetery.Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
