->Stewart, Elizabeth (Mary Ann)Elizabeth Mary Ann Stewart (nee Elie) of Pearl River, NY, died after a short Illness on Friday, May 6, 2011 at home with her family. She was born March 23, 1927 to Ernest and Elizabeth Elie. She was a loving and devoted wife to Edward John Stewart, dear mother and mother-in-law to, Elizabeth and Steve Lafergola, Esther and Jim Costigan and Liz Acevedo Dennison, sister-in-law to Esther Martin and the late Roger Martin. She was the cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren and aunt to two nephews and one niece. Mary Ann was an active member of St. Margaret's Parish in Pearl River. She graduated from Columbia University with a Master Degree in (Library) Science, and retired after 22 years as the Director of the Dumont Library, Dumont, N.J. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 10th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday 10:00AM at St. Margaret's Church, Pearl River.
