BROCK , Elizabeth Margaret (nee Shortt) April 8, 1947 - May 14, 2009 Elizabeth, beloved wife of Wayne, passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, May 14 at the age of 62. Elizabeth was born to Lourdes and Kenneth ("K.C.") Shortt in London, Ontario and spent her childhood in Toronto. Elizabeth and Wayne were married in Toronto in 1970. They moved to Brazil with "their girls" in 1979 and in 1982 returned to Canada, settling in Calgary. Besides her loving husband of thirty-eight years, Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Doug) Watmough and Lindsay (Doug) Keer; as well as her "darling" grandchildren, Kyra, Parker, Kennedy, and Brock Keer and Alexander Watmough. Grandma was anxiously awaiting her sixth grandchild, baby Watmough, who will be arriving in the coming days. Our "beautiful" Grandma will be deeply missed. Elizabeth is also survived by her sisters, Mary Lou (David) Gray and Adrienne (Rick) Mays; and her nieces Katie Gray, Heather (Afrim) Pristine and Laura Mays. Elizabeth leaves behind so many wonderful friends that meant the world to her. Remember her for the light and laughter that she brought to all our lives.
