MCLEAN, Elizabeth (Betty) October 8, 1913 - September 19, 2004 It is with deep sadness the family announces that Elizabeth McLean died peacefully on Sunday, September 19th in her 90th year. A cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband 'Jerry', and five siblings. She will be fondly remembered by her son Russell (Marjorie) of Burlington, Ontario and daughter Moira (Rick) Nester, of St Albert, Alberta; three grandchildren Heather (Craig) Symonds, Woodinville, WA, USA, Barbara (Brian) Ross, Hamilton, Ontario and Rimo Nester; two great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Riley Symonds, and her dear friends. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Elizabeth immigrated to Canada in 1953. The family wish to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Continuing Care, Mount Pleasant where Elizabeth spent the last year of her life, for the kind and loving care that she was given. We would also like to thank the caring friends that visited her when she was unable to visit outside the Centre. Cremation has taken place.
