Elizabeth Ryan (née Manning) June 20, 1919 - August 31, 2006 June 20, 1919 - August 31, 2006 Passed away, peacefully, of natural causes, in the presence of her loving family, at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville, ON, on August 31, 2006, in her 88th year. Predeceased by husbands Edward Ryan, Bernard Manning, son Bernard Manning, stepson Patrick Ryan, ten brothers and one sister. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons: Edward, Charles (Cheryl), Ignatius (Laura), daughter Trudy and special son-in-law Gary Parsons with whom she resided and daughter-in-law Patricia Manning (Bernard) of Raleigh, N.C., stepchildren Ron, Leo and Sister Mary Ryan and Helena Woods, brother Richard Cantwell and sister Mary Waterman, all of Torbay, NFLD. Precious grandchildren: Keith, Brendan, Jennifer, Jason, Clorice, Cory, Lisa (Milroy) and Jacob Manning; Bernard and Deanna Parsons and numerous loving family and friends. Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Sunday from 1-9 p.m. with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Orkney Street East, Caledonia, on Monday, September 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. This will be followed by a Memorial Mass and Interment to be held at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Torbay, NFLD at a date to be determined. The family requests that donations may be made in memory of Lizzie to Caring Partners International, 470 Anndale Road, Waterloo, ON N2K 1W8 for the benefit of Mantangwe Community Commonwealth Clinic, a special charity of her great-niece Krista Cantwell.
