Elizabeth M. Williams, 62, 19th Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at home. She was born Nov. 26, 1942, in Chicago, Ill. She and her husband moved to this area in 1990 from Kuttawa, Ky. She was a member of First Christian Church in Cape Girardeau. Betty loved the beach, traveling with her husbandand most of all, she loved her family and friends. She was a very independent, strong person and she will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Robert; father, William Buckman, Cape Girardeau, Mo.; stepson, David Williams, Cincinnati, Ohio; stepdaughters, Kelly Rogers, Milford, Ohio, and Colleen Elam, Fairfield, Ohio; loving nephew, Danny Burke, Catawissa, Mo.; eight grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
