ANDERSON Elizabeth M. Anderson, age 87, of Ansonia, formerly of Trumbull, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late Linder and Bertha Fearnley. Elizabeth was a head of consumer services for Howlands-Steinbach department store for 45 years retiring 22 years ago. She was a life member of Long Hill Methodist Church, active in the A.A.R.P. and enjoyed crafts. She was predeceased by her daughter, Betty Mae DeSalle. Survivors include three grandchildren, Lissa Sperandeo, Robert DeSalle Jr. and his wife, Donna and Daniel DeSalle; three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Amanda and Ashley DeSalle; son-in-law, Robert DeSalle; her brother, Edward Fearnly; step-daughter, Sally Anderson; niece, Joyce Lenz and her husband, George and niece, Diane Wilcox and husband, Ken. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the Long Hill Methodist Church , 6358 Main St. Trumbull with the Rev. Elizabeth Schrader, officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery . Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday June 3, 2009 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2160 Main St. Bridgeport .
