Elizabeth Lawton Of Dover, Delaware, died Saturday, November 26, 2005, at the home of her daughter in Smyrna. She was 87. Mrs. Hall was born May 26, 1918 in Watkins Glen, New York, the daughter of the late George Ransom Lawton and Madge Burrell Lawton. Mrs. Hall graduated from Syracuse University in 1939 with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and later worked as an Art Teacher for the Horseheads Central School District in Horseheads, New York for twenty years before retirement. She was a member of the American Association of University Women and a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. She was an avid artist and enjoyed working on her paintings. She is survived by her son, George Frederic Hall of Watkins Glen, New York; two daughters, Elizabeth Dale Vetuskey and her husband, James of Hamlin, New York and their son, Brendon J. Vetuskey of Lake Balboa, California, and Jacquelyn Lawton Barton and her husband, Wayne, and their children, Jonathan, Jessica, and Jennifer Barton, all of Smyrna; and a brother, John Stephen Lawton of Watkins Glen, New York.
