Obituary of Elizabeth Labare


Elizabeth (Betty) LaBare of Endicott Elizabeth (Betty) LaBare, 87, of Endicott, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Cyrill; a son and daughter-in-law, Cyrill B. and Sally LaBare; and a granddaughter, Kelly Marie LaBare. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her family, a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Brian Leonard, Vestal; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene, Nancy, Jaun and Diane LaBare, all of Endicott; her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Byron, Celeste, Heather, Brian, Sean, Natasha, Yvette, Jay and Danielle; twelve great-grandchildren; a brother, Edward Haggerty, Binghamton; also several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Endicott, and a former employee of the Endicott-Johnson Corporation. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 9:30 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main Street, Endicott, followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home Friday evening from 5-8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to Mom's House, 770 Harry L. Drive, Johnson City, N.Y. 13790 or the charity of one's choice.
