Obituary of Elizabeth Love


LOVE Elizabeth Leone, nee Fowler passed away peacefully at home in Victoria on May 5, 2003. Born May 31, 1924. Predeceased by her parents, Rev. J.D. and Neva Fowler, one brother Donovan Fowler and one sister, Merry (Fowler) Runge, all of Red Deer, Alberta. Survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Paul Harris Love. Lovingly remembered by her brother Paul (and Reta) Fowler of Victoria, her brother David (and Mary) Fowler of Stettler, Alberta, numerous nieces and nephews and their children. Elizabeth was born in Delburne, Alberta into the family of a Nazarene pastor. After completing high school, Elizabeth graduated from the Toronto School of Design. While in Toronto, Elizabeth was a member of the Youth for Christ Ladies' Octette under the direction of Rev. Charles Templeton and musician Tedd Smith. In 1951 Elizabeth married Paul Harris Love of Muskoka, Ontario and became involved in the operation of the Love's Glen Home Hotel. Elizabeth was a gifted artist and musician who will be sadly missed by her friends and family. There will be a funeral service at MCCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Vancouver and Johnson Streets, on Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow in the Graham and Torrey McCall Family Centre.
