Elizabeth L. "Betty" Jackson, 71, of Jeffersontown, died Sunday, November 9, 2003, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was the former Elizabeth L. Cote, born November 25, 1931, in Presque Isle, ME, and a member of Long Field United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Jackson; sons, Terry Lee (Lori) and Jerry R. Jackson; sisters, Irvina Costen and Patricia Tree; and grandchildren, Mike, Chris and Dawn Jackson and Scott Stewart; and great-granddaughter, Brooke Stewart. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd., a family-owned and operated funeral home centre, with burial in Lone Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.
