MYRONIUK, Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Mrs. Betty Myroniuk, beloved wife of Mr. William Myroniuk of Medicine Hat, Alberta passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the age of 71 years. Betty also leaves to cherish her memory one son, Alexander "Alex" William Myroniuk of Smith Falls, ON; two daughters, Mary Ann Hope (Don) Owens of Medicine Hat and Burnadette Noble of Sault Ste. Marie; five grandchildren, Jesse & Rickie Lea, Tommy Noble & Joy Lynn (Allen) Vaughn and their children, Courtney and Serenity; Shawna (Steve) Dickson and their children, Cole and Sierra; her brothers, William "Buddy" (Verna) King, Kevin (Roseann) King and Leo (Sophia) King and James "Jimmy" King; her sisters, Helen (Joseph) March and Ann (Wayne) MacCullan all of Cape Breton; and brother-in-law, Michael Quirk; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary King; one grandson, Billy Noble; two brothers, Lawrence King and John King and one sister, Margarete Quirk. Betty was born in Cape Breton and married William Myroniuk on December 16, 1953 in Sudbury, Ontario, where they also made their home. In 1988, Betty and William moved to Medicine Hat to be closer to their daughter, Mary Ann and her family. For Betty, her family was extremely important and she was a "true care giver" - always thinking of others before herself. This trait remained with her even after she became ill. She will be sadly missed by her family and all those who were fortunate enough to know her. The Funeral Service will be held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, Alberta, on Friday, July 23, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Loren Hosfield, officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Hillside Cemetery.
