Elizabeth-Joyce-Tucker Miller, spouse of Melvin Tucker, daughter of Morris and Lovie-Dillman, mother of Judy, Foley, Juli and Gadsden, died on January 7, 2008.
Elizabeth Joyce Tucker Miller, a native of West Palm Beach, Fla., and longtime resident of Gadsden, passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2008.Mrs. Miller was a faithful member of the West Gadsden Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 40 years. She was owner of Boaz & Guntersville Health Food Stores for 12 years.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Melvin Tucker; parents, Morris Dillman and Lovie Dillman Latacker; and sister, Christine Louise Agtuca.She is survived by her husband, Jerry Miller; daughters, Judy (Ron) Gregerson, Foley, and Juli (Lloyd) Heald, Gadsden; stepdaughters, Debbie (Don) Adsit, Maryville, Tenn., and April Miller, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and stepsons, Justin (Beverly) Miller, Delano, Tenn., and Preston (Kimberly) Miller, Birmingham; brothers, William Dillman, Gadsden, and Stanley Dillman, Fort Pierce, Fla.; sister, Juanita (Billy) Burns, Jacksonville, Fla.; brother-in-law, Junior Agtuca, Tampa, Fla.; former mother-in-law, Jadell Hall; and grandchildren, Jay (Misty) Holcomb, Boaz, Miranda (Jake) Booth, Rising Fawn, Ga., Tyanna (Brian) Dunn, Bay Minette, Myles Gregerson, Boaz, Morgan (Gabe) Rodriguez, Foley, Murphy Gregerson, Boaz, Tayler Gregerson, Foley, DJ (Julie) Woods, Hokes Bluff, Christa (Shannon) Wood, Attalla, Wesley LeGendre, Gadsden, Tucker Vandenhandle, Gadsden, Trent Green, Gadsden, April Adsit, Maryville, Tenn., Luke (Kelly) Adsit, Seymour, Tenn., Lindsey Adsit, Maryville, Tenn., Chloe Adsit, Maryville, Isaac Miller, Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Katelyn Miller, Birmingham. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Morgan Funeral Chapel.A family graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.A memorial service will be held at the West Gadsden Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26. Services to be handled by David Manojlovich and Neal Mitchell.
