Elizabeth Joyce Stewart CRAWFORDVILLE - Elizabeth Joyce Stewart, 78, who retired as a coordinator for the Girl Scouts, died Thursday, March 31, 2005, in Medart following a lengthy illness. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. EDT Monday at the chapel at Abbey-Riposta Funeral Home (850-562-1518), with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wakulla County Senior Center, 33 Michael Dr., Crawfordville, FL 32327. She was a native of Wellston, Ohio, and graduated from Ohio University. She moved to Tallahassee in 1966, where she worked at James D.A. Holly Co. In 1968, she moved to Fort Walton Beach and retired from the Girl Scout Council of Northwest Florida as a district coordinator.She relocated to Crawfordville in 1998. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Fort Walton Beach and the Order of the Eastern Star and was active in the Hadji Shriners with her husband. She enjoyed traveling during her retirement years. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the excellent care and support from the staff at Eden Springs Nursing Home and Big Bend Hospice.She is survived by her daughter, Christine Dodson (and husband Larry); a brother, John Martindill of Wellston, Ohio; two grandsons, Mike Dodson (and wife Melissa) and Steve Dodson (and wife Randi); and seven great-grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Adam, Casey and Ashley Dodson, and Amber Shiflett and Jordan Wright.She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Frank Stewart.
