Of Buffalo, June 5, 2001, beloved wife of the late William J. Gallagher; devoted mother of Joseph Patrick (Paulette) of Santa Fe, NM, Msgr. William J. Gallagher, Pastor of St. John Vianney, Orchard Park, John Michael (Kathleen) of Buffalo, Robert E. (Karen) of Buffalo, James F. (Mary Beth) of Buffalo, Stephen V. (Ginny) of Neutral Bay, Australia, M. Therese (David) Pitrelli of West Seneca, Ann E. (Matthew) Laudisio of E. Amherst, Patricia E. 'Trish' (Patrick) Casillo of Depew and Mark B. (Linda) Gallagher of Buffalo; revered grandmother of 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; daughter of the late William and Edna (Marriott) Pfeiffer; sister of the late L.C.D.R. James A. Pfeiffer U.S.N. Ret'd; mother-in-law of Nancy Smith Gallagher; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME INC. (Buffalo Chapel), 2397 Seneca St., Saturday at 9:15 AM and from St. John the Evangelist Church at 10 AM. Friends may call Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. If desired, gifts in her memory may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church. Mrs. Gallagher was a Eucharistic Minister at S.J.E., as well as many other church activities. She was a graduate of South Park High School, Cortland College and a certified N.Y.S. Teacher.
