SHORT Elizabeth Idelia Short, who attended the Britney Spears concert at age 87, died August 24, 2005 in the arms of Raymond, her husband of 65 years. Raymond, her sons, Fred and Bob, her grandsons, Steven and Ted, and their families were with her when she died. Elizabeth and her beloved (by her) psycho cat, Princess, will be cremated. Elizabeth's ashes will be kept until Raymond's death, at which time they will be mixed with his and sprinkled together at the location where they first met in Tampa. Elizabeth was also survived by her brother, Rufus A. May, her sister, Barbara Burkett, numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grandnephews, friends and staff of many beaches restaurants. A service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 11am, in the Chapel at the Community Hospice, Hadlow Center, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
