WILLIAMS Elizabeth Hitchcock Coley Williams, age 83, previously of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Earl H. Williams, died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Loudoun County Hospital, Va. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter of the late William Stanton and Helen Hitchcock Coley. Mrs. Williams was a graduate of Central High School and the Larson Junior College, New Haven and Simmon's College, Boston, Mass. She was a member of the Mary Silliman Chapter, D.A.R. Bridgeport. She served as chairman and member of several committees. She was a member of the Larson Jr. College Alumna Association and Simmon's College Alumna, a member of the Southport Women's Club, Greenfield Hill AARP Chapter 1801 and did volunteer work for local organizations. She was a retired secretary for the Timothy Dwight School of Fairfield for 33 years. She was a union representative for Fairfield County Secretaries. She traveled over seas with her husband and family extensively. Survivors include one son, Donald Coley Williams and his wife, Jean, of Virginia; three grandchildren, Jessica Allia Rice Williams, Matthew S. Coley Williams and Kelly Rice Williams, all of Great Falls, Va..; one brother, William S. Coley Jr. of Nevada; a niece, Helen Claire Coley of California; and several cousins. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, February 25 at 10 a.m. in the United Congregational Church, Bridgeport. Reception will follow. Interment will take place at 1 p.m. in Hillside Cemetery, Wilton. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the United Congregational Church Music Fund, 877 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604. Calling hours have been omitted.
