Elizabeth Henderson LYMAN, SC-- Elizabeth Juanita Owens Henderson, 81, of 519 Inman Road, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013. She was the widow of Lewis Dewitt "Red" Henderson and the daughter of the late Filden "Bill" Owens and Hester Mae Mason Owens and step-mother, Ethel Owens. She attended Evangelical Cathedral and had retired at The Leader in Spartanburg. Survivors include five sons, Barry Henderson and wife Shirley of Lyman, Mike and Ricky Henderson, both of the home, Randy Henderson and wife Susan of Lyman and Ronnie Henderson and wife Christy of Lyman; a daughter, Pam Gurule of Piedmont; four brothers, Homer and Carl Owens, both of Duncan, Cecil Owens of Lyman and Dean Owens of Imperia, KS; a sister, Shirley Staggs of Wellford; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Delbert Owens. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday at The Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Jerry Clevenger and Rev. Don Valley officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service. The interment will be in Wood Memorial Park.
