HENDERSON, Elizabeth (Betty) (nee Greenhorn) June 28, 1920 October 1, 2009 Betty passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital, with family beside her. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Bill (William) Henderson and is survived by her sister, Jean Benson; brother, Stan Grant; her two daughters, Linda and Lori; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Betty was born in Vancouver; she also lived in Calgary, Winnipeg, Victoria, Palm Desert, CA and White Rock. In recent years she returned to Victoria and lived at Parkwood Retirement Residence, where she made many friends. Betty and Bill enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and were active members of Cadboro Bay United Church and the Victoria Golf Club. Betty was a kind, gentle woman who will be greatly missed and never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to your favourite charity. 565658
