ObituaryElizabeth H. Davis, 96, of Fort Myers, died on September 13, 2002 at Shell Point Village, where she had resided for twenty-one years. She was born in Winn, Maine, on January 23, 1906, the daughter of Henry R. and Clara ( Sherrard) Haynes. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank E.K. Davis and their daughter, Barbara Davis See. Survivors are three grandchildren, Daniel See of Bucksport, Maine; Martha Millett of Pittsfield, Maine; and Mark See of Alexandria, VA; two great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. She and her husband moved from Old Greenwich, CT to Fort Myers Beach over forty years ago. For many years she was a devoted and active volunteer at the Beach Library. She was Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Old Greenwich, CT., and a current member in Millinocket, ME. Burial will be in the South Winn Cemetery in Winn, ME.
