TUSCALOOSA Elizabeth "Bae Bae" Harris, age 81, of 541 – Bear Creek Road East, Tuscaloosa, died Dec. 19, 2005, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be noon Monday at St. John Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cedar Oak Memorial Park with Williams Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services Monday at the church."Madea", as she was affectionately called by her children, was a dedicated person to her family. She truly loved them and tremendously enjoyed the family gatherings.Linda Kay, her first-born, preceded her in death.Her legacy will be cherished through her 12 surviving children, Wallace (Gloria), Robert, Jessie (Bonnie), Brenda, Leila, Barbara (Dwain), Jacqueline, Rosie, David, Delois (Paul), Glendon (Charlotte), and Carolyn. She has 30 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, her brother, Johnny Long, adopted brother, General Taylor, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and family friends. She leaves special memories with her Godson, Clarence Gray, and Goddaughter, Francis Wellington, and with her caregiver, Melguim "Sister" Farley.
