Elizabeth Harris, born in 1918, spouse of James-Young Harris, died.
Harris , Elizabeth, of Pompano Beach, FL went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2007. Born October 3, 1918, in Jacksonville, FL, Elizabeth moved to Oviedo, FL in 1919. She married James Young Harris in 1938 and was a wonderful homemaker as well as an active member of 1st Baptist Church of Oviedo. In 1996, she moved to John Knox VIllage in Pompano Beach to be near her family. Elizabeth is survived by a daughter and son-in law, Linda and Lee Baggett of Coral Springs; grandson, Lee Baggett of Stuart; granddaughter and husband, Denisha and Tom Kuchenbecker; three great granddaughters, Alexis, Corrina and Halle Kuchenbecker of Coral Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Carolyn Gore of Altamonte Springs; brother, Gene Gore of Ocala; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 501 East Mitchell Hammock Road, Oviedo, FL, (407) 366-8999. Family and friends are invited for a visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 1`1:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Sutheast Florida, 309 S.E. 18th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.
