ObituaryElizabeth Hardwicke Miller, 95, of Ft. Myers, FL passed away April 21, 2005. A teacher in the Richmond, VA school system for 35 years, she retired and moved to Ft. Myers from Williamsburg, VA in 1979 with her husband, Ronald Miller, who preceded her in death.Mrs. Miller retained her membership in the Commonwealth Chapter of the D.A.R. and the Jamestowne Society. While living in Ft. Myers she was a member of an honorary teachers' society, the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She was also a life member of the Society of Symphony Women and affiliated with Cypress Lake Presbyterian Church.Mrs. Miller is survived by a great niece Karen Elizabeth Heisse of Baltimore, Maryland and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Memorial service will be celebrated Wednesday, April 27th at 1:00 PM at the Chapel at the Lake ALF, 7460 Lake Breeze Dr., Ft. Myers. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery of Richmond. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity. Arrangements by Harvey-Engelhardt-Metz Funeral Home of Ft.
