Elizabeth (Betty) Spence 1935 - 2006 SACKVILLE, NB - After a lengthy battle with cancer, Elizabeth (Betty) Spence, age 71, of Dorchester, passed away in the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Monday, November 27th, 2006. Born in Dorchester, NB, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Dorothy (MacDougall) Harris. Betty will be sadly missed by her husband of 45 years, Garfield Spence; her children, Maude MacKenzie (Ian), Dieppe, NB, Coleman (Sharon), Greenwood, NS, Peter (Susan), Cherryburton, NB, Penny (David), Jersey Cove, NS, Pam (George), Moncton, NB, Pauline, Dorchester, NB, Paul (Audrey), Dorchester, NB, 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild and brother Bill (Alice) Harris, Kennewick, Washington. She was predeceased by son, Herbert, sister Jeanette and brother-in-law, Laurie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (364-1300). There will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place at the Jones Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30th, 2006 at 2 pm, Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Burial will follow in the Dorchester Rural Cemetery.
