PLAINFIELD – The Service of Remembrance for Elizabeth G. "Liz" Williams was held Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at 11 a.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. She died Feb. 13, 2010, at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin. Teresa Lever led the service. She gave two readings. Great-granddaughter Nicole Ashe lit her grandmother's Life Candle. Ms. Lever led the congregation in the hymns. Words of remembrance were offered by granddaughter Tina Ashe and niece Janet Chase. Later interment will be made in the East Orange Cemetery. Fellowship and luncheon followed at the Barre Canadian Club.
