Elizabeth Farrington Rogers, 81, of Oakleaf Village at Thornblade, formerly of Brevard, N.C. and Melbourne, Fla., died Saturday, July 27, 2002. Born in Watertown, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Leon and Gladys Evans Russell and the widow of George L. Farrington and William R. Rogers. She retired from PanAmerican World Airways at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, was a member of the Teamster's Union, BRAC, and Kappa Delta Sorority at Syracuse University, and of the Methodist faith. Surviving are her four daughters, Martha F. Grant and spouse H. Roger Grant of Central, S.C., Elizabeth F. Johnson and spouse Ronald J. Johnson of White Stone, Va., Suzanne R. Farrington and spouse Jeffrey Brooks of Vancouver, B.C., and Deborah J. Farrington of Greenville; one brother, John E. Russell of Inverness, Fla.; three grandchildren, Christopher F. Johnson, Kirsten E. Izzett, and Julia D. Grant; one great-grandchild, Kaylee E. Izzett; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Oakleaf Village at Thornblade.
