Obituary of Elizabeth-F. Flanagan


Elizabeth F. Flanagan MONROE TWP. - Elizabeth F. Flanagan, 87, of Monroe passed away on Tuesday at Monroe Village, Monroe Township. Born in Trenton, she was a 54-year resident of Hamilton Square before moving to Monroe in 2010. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth Meighan; wife of the late Thomas J. Flanagan; mother of the late Nora E.; sister of the late Marie V. Stearle, and grandmother of the late Brandon W. Flanagan. She is survived by her twin sister, Nora Vernam of Hamilton; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas F. and Sally J. Flanagan of Hamilton; two grandchildren, Megan F. and Kyle F. Flanagan of Hamilton; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Greeley of Arlington, MA, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the colonial home.
