Mrs. Elizabeth Duemler Shea, 85, of Perth, New York, passed away on March 10, 2009. A native and lifelong resident of Perth, she was born March 21, 1923, a daughter of the late William and Josephine Drozinski. Elizabeth was a beautician for many years and was a successful business woman. She developed and owned the Northway Mobile Home Park in Perth. She was also licensed by the State of New York Association of Realtors. In 1982, she and her son, Robert, built High Rollers, also in Perth and helped run it until 1987. Betty was a faithful member of the Good Shepherd Church for many years. She and her husband enjoyed traveling in their motor home throughout the United States. Betty's family was her life. She loved to spoil her grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of style and an exuberant sense of humor. Betty is predeceased by her husband, Robert Shea, and her first husband, Eric Duemler; her brother, Stanley Drozinski and her daughter, Carol Ann Dandino. She is survived by one son, Robert (Judith) Duemler; one brother, Edmund (Joyce) Drozinski; five grandchildren, Eric (Sarah) Duemler of Amsterdam, Christine (Tim) Munn of Amsterdam, Dr. Matthew Duemler of Ballston Spa, Tracy (Eric) Fluty of Mariaville and Brett (Peggy) Heller of Virginia; eight great-grandchildren, Ashlee Mc Donald, Autumn Duemler, Bobby and Carson Munn, Eric and Juliet Fluty, and Travis and Savannah Heller; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Jendrzejczak Funeral Home, 200 Church Street, Amsterdam, NY with the Rev. Adam Czarnecki officiating. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
