STEWART, Elizabeth Drysdale (Elsie) Elsie passed away peacefully December 19, 2006. Born in Glasgow, Scotland November 12, 1924, she lived in the midlands of England for 15 years prior to emigrating to the West Kootenays with her family in 1965, where she was active in the community as librarian. She moved to Victoria in 1982. Beloved wife of Dr. Ian F. Stewart; loved by her children Elizabeth (Doug), Lindsay (John) and Alison and grandchildren Nicola and David; also her sister Nancy (Blake) and their children Linda, Kathryn, Barbara and Robert. She will be sadly missed. A celebration of Elsie's life will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1155 Fort Street on Saturday, December 23 at 2:00 P.M. with a reception to follow.
