DAVIS, Elizabeth "Liz" Age 85 of Nashville. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 19, 2011. Liz enjoyed sewing, gardening, swimming, oceans, (specifically Daytona Beach, FL), jewelry and cooking to bring the family together for dinner and sometimes trying to burn down the church camp's kitchen. Preceded in death by her husband, Richard Davis. Survived by her children, Judy King (Jerry), Bill Davis (Rose) and Sandy Porter (Steve); 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A Life Celebration will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home with burial to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
