WELLSVILLE - Elizabeth D. Morris, 77, of 100 Merriam Heights, Wellsville, and formerly of Allentown, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 19, 2013) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, after a lengthy illness.She was born May 30, 1936, in Brooklyn. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Alma (Grube) Dietze. Elizabeth was a graduate of Olean High School. She was a homemaker and mother most of her life. She had also been a hostess for the Castle Restaurant in Olean, the Cameo Restaurant and most recently, the Beef Haus in Wellsville. She had been a special caregiver to several families in the area. She was a good singer, a great cook, especially of fudge, a champion leg wrestler, and a queen of jokes and laughter.Surviving are her two sons, Mark C. (Claire) Morris of Cuba, Timothy Morris of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Elizabeth (Peter) Morris of Lomalinda, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Anne (Don) Quick of Keller, Texas and Marilyn (Felix) Casaceli of Harrison, Ohio; two brothers, Kenneth Dietze of Arizona and Paul (Debbie) Dietze of Shinglehouse, Pa.; several nieces and nephews and her gentlemen friend, Robert Milgate of Wellsville.In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sons, Daniel Morris, Thomas Morris and Robert M. Morris.Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 23, 2013), at 9 Bull St., Cuba, at which time, a funeral service will be held. Pastor Mason Sorensen of Wellsville Full Gospel Church will officiate.
