Elizabeth Cunningham Harrisof BinghamtonElizabeth Cunningham Harris, 83, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2003, at Wilson Hospital. She was born June 15, 1919 in Binghamton. She was predeceased by her parents, Reverend P. E. and Alice Cunningham; a son, Roger Harris; a brother, Isiah (Ike) Cunningham; half-sister, Esther Turner; and two half-brothers, Thomas Cunningham and Daniel Cunningham. She is survived by her sister, Sarah Trimiew; brothers, Elder Moses Cunningham and Jerry Cunningham and his wife, Edna; a half-sister, Mary Jane Nelson; and her sister-in-law, Mabel Cunningham who provided devoted care for her during her late illness. Elizabeth will be remembered for her years of dispensing food to the needy in the neighborhood through her church, Church of God and Saints of Christ. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the William R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 44 Exchange St., Binghamton, with Elder Nathaniel Quattlebaum of the Church of God and Saints of Christ, Albany, N.Y. Burial will be in Spring Forest Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
