CONNOLLY Elizabeth "Liza", age 55, of Ridgefield Park, passed away on October 9, 2013. Liza received her doctorate in sociology at New York University in 1996. She also holds an M.A. from N.Y.U. and a B.A. from William Paterson College. She taught statistics at N.Y.U. and also worked as a Marketing Researcher both for insurance and professional services companies. Authored "The Journey Back - The Emotional Process to Physical Healing". Liza is predeceased by her parents Richard and Helen Connolly (nee Jurik). Beloved domestic partner to Joseph Barbetta, loving sister to Brenda and her husband Dr. Mark Kahn, Theresa and her husband Taso Mihalopoulos, Barbara Connolly, Faith and her husband Willie Palmadessa, Matthew Connolly and his wife Eileen. Liza will be greatly missed by her niece and nephews. Funeral from the Vorhees Ingwersen Funeral Home 59 Main Street Ridgefield Park Monday 9 AM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis RC Church at 9:30 AM. Cremation at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visitation Sunday 2-6 PM.
