Obituary of Elizabeth Carter

ELIZABETH THOMPSON CARTER MELBOURNE Elizabeth Liz Thompson- Carter, a native of Melbourne, FL and a retired school teacher, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Liz, was employed as an edu cator of young children for more than 35 years. She taught at Douglas Elementary School in Wabasso, FL (Indian River County), and at Roy Allen Elementary School in Mel bourne, FL (Brevard County). She leaves to cherish her life and memory, a son, Kenneth T. Carter; two sisters, Jessie Mae (Willie) Taylor and Julia (Leo) Kellem; two brothers, George Thompson and John (Twanna) Thompson; and a special and devoted friend, Luke Range. A daughter, Kelly Stone- Dykes, preceded her in death. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, November 3rd, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 2729 Lipscomb Street, Mel bourne. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Satur day, at the church. Stone Funeral Home in Melbourne is entrusted with final arrangements.
