She is survived by her devoted friend, James Seays; her sisters, Doretha Carter Cook (Milton), Iula Carter Murray (Tom) and Lomar Carter Barkley (Robert); and her special nephews, Dwayne F. Ivory (Mary) and Larry D. Ivory.
