WRIGHT, Elizabeth Anne (Betty) nee Coyle - Surrounded by her family at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Hospital Drive on Monday, October 6, 2003 in her 87th year. Born in Winnipeg on October 30, 1916, Betty earned 20 years of service with the Otonabee Regional Conservation Authority. Betty became president of the Peterborough Senior Citizens Council and was also involved with Meals on Wheels, Soroptimists International of Peterborough and Hospice and lifetime member C.W.L. Dear mother of Barbara Hartnett and her husband Jere of Burlington, Mary Sue Rankin of Toronto and Penny Wright of Whistler, B.C. Loving grandmother of Catherine Fitzgerald and her husband Scott, Mary Hartnett and Michael Hartnett. Great-grandmother of Maeve and Ryan Fitzgerald. Survived by her sister Roberta Coyle of Vancouver and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Valois, Patrick, Charles and sister Mary and former husband Elmer Borden (Joe) Wright. Family and friends will be received at the COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. PETER'S CATHEDRAL on Saturday, October 11, 2003 at 10:30 am. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery.
