<!-- FH = ROCAP SHANNON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME -->PHILLIPS, Elizabeth Ann, 89, of Millville, N.J., died at home, Tuesday, November 1, 2011, after an extended illness. She was born in Denton, Md., to parents Alfred and Bertha Clark. Mrs. Phillips was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, the Rev. Dean H. Phillips. Elizabeth and Dean served as missionaries with the Wesleyan Church, traveling throughout the world. A succession of churches and places spanning more than 40 years included the Eastern Caribbean Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, Guyana and parts of South American. They both retired to Brooksville, Fla., and Elizabeth and Dean lived for 18 years at the Brooksville Wesleyan Village before returning to Millville in 2006. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her son, John Howard Phillips and his wife, Jonny; two daughters, Joyce and Doris Phillips; grandchildren, Sean Phillips and his wife, Valerie, of Pittsgrove, N.J., Renee Carris and her husband, Jason, of Manalapan, N.J., Stacy Thomas and her husband, Nate, of Bridgeton, N.J., Ryan Bacon of Anchorage, Alaska, and Joshua Phillips and Gavin Phillips of Millville; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
