Elizabeth Ann Dillon, 88, passed away at her home at Sterling House in Palm Coast on July 9, 2014. A native of Mount Vernon, N.Y. Elizabeth also lived in Shrub Oak, N.Y. from 1957-1996 before moving to St. Augustine. Elizabeth married her late husband Kenneth F. Dillon in 1946. They shared 65 years of their lives together, working and raising their family. Family life was the center of her life. She was also a lifelong Catholic and was active in her parish in New York. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Dillon of St. Augustine; two sons, Kenneth Dillon, Jr. of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Christopher Dillon of Carmel, N.Y.; two sisters, Lillian Webendorfer of Madison, Wis., and Irene Dillon of Tuckerton, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Kelly Dillon, Meghan Dillon, Laura Peschel and Timothy Ryan; two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Elizabeth Peschel. Her husband Kenneth and son Peter Dillon preceded her in death.A memorial service will be celebrated in New York at a later date.Donations may be made in her name to: Putnam Family and Community Services 1808 Route 6 Carmel, NY 10512.Craig Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
